About Leah
I am a dedicated guitar instructor with 10 years of experience in teaching acoustic and electric guitar. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music and have trained many students from beginner level to advanced performers. My teaching approach is structured, patient, and focused on building strong fundamentals while keeping learning enjoyable and engaging for every student.
Over the years, I have helped learners develop skills in chords, rhythm, lead playing, and fingerstyle techniques. I believe that every student learns at their own pace, so I adjust my methods according to individual needs. My sessions are interactive, where students not only learn techniques but also understand the theory behind music.
I am passionate about helping students discover their musical potential and build confidence in their playing. My guitar lessons are designed to help students understand music from the basics to advanced performance levels. I begin with fundamentals like holding the guitar correctly, finger placement, basic chords, and strumming patterns. Each lesson is structured in a simple step-by-step manner so that beginners can easily follow and gradually build confidence in playing different songs and musical styles.
As students progress, I focus on chord transitions, rhythm control, scales, and lead guitar techniques. I also introduce fingerstyle playing and improvisation skills to help learners develop creativity. Practice sessions include popular songs and exercises that strengthen hand coordination, timing, and musical expression. This approach ensures steady improvement and strong technical foundation.
I also prepare students for live performances and stage confidence by teaching timing, expression, and playing with backing tracks. My goal is to make each learner comfortable with their instrument and able to play smoothly in front of others. I encourage consistent practice, patience, and passion for music to achieve long-term growth.
