About Jane
You will find that strumming a guitar is a playful way to end your week. If you arrive ready to practice, we will make quick work of your toughest chord transitions.
My lessons utilize the theory I learned during my BA Musique populaire degree to ensure your technique is solid. I provide free chord charts and tab sheets after each class so you can keep track of what we covered. These materials help you keep the momentum between our scheduled times. We will build your skills at your own speed.

Working professionals often find that the guitar is the only place they can let their guard down after a long day. Truthfully, I struggle to keep my own practice sessions short because I enjoy the instrument far too much. My 7 years of experience involve helping kids, absolute beginners, and returning players find their groove.
I lean into my background as a first-gen French-Canadian-musician to show how folk styles can inform modern songwriting. We explore reading tabs, barre chords, and electric technique until you feel comfortable playing. It is a productive space.
