About Kathryn
Pacing is everything, and I prefer to move at a speed that makes sense for your ears. We will cover power chords and barre chords along with reading sheet music in a way that clicks.
I bring my acoustic technique expertise to help you progress through your grade exam prep or casual playing. You will receive free chord charts and tab sheets after each class to keep your practice focused. Whether you are an absolute beginner or an advanced player, the material stays grounded. Honestly, I still get nervous when I pick up a new piece of music. I have taught 207 students while gigging the local scene for over 11 years. My Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and BM Guitar provide a solid foundation for my method.
I have 13 years of experience under my belt now. Teaching is not about showing off, but about making the instrument accessible to you. Expect a direct, energetic, and no nonsense approach in our time together.
