About Ivy

I am a dedicated violin tutor with 12 years of teaching experience and a Master's Degree in Music Performance. I enjoy helping students discover their musical strengths and improve confidence through violin learning. I believe every learner can achieve success with patience, proper guidance, and consistent encouragement from an experienced instructor.

My teaching approach is friendly, practical, and focused on gradual improvement through engaging musical activities. I adapt lessons according to each student’s abilities, interests, and learning style for meaningful progress and understanding. I always encourage students to practice regularly and build confidence through supportive instruction and constructive feedback during lessons consistently.

Apart from teaching, I enjoy exploring orchestral music, violin compositions, and live performances to improve professionally. I am passionate about inspiring students to appreciate music deeply while strengthening technical and artistic abilities. Helping students become expressive and confident violin players gives me great fulfillment and professional satisfaction as a tutor.

About the lesson

My violin lessons focus on posture correction, bow control, rhythm practice, finger placement, and expressive musical performance. I design lessons according to each student’s experience level and musical objectives. I help students improve confidence and technical ability through guided practice, engaging exercises, and enjoyable musical learning activities during every session regularly.

I teach violin concepts using practical demonstrations and step-by-step explanations for easier understanding and steady improvement. My lessons include scales, ear training, rhythm exercises, and performance preparation to strengthen coordination and sound quality. I encourage students to practice consistently while building strong musical foundations and expressive playing abilities naturally over time.

I maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. I provide supportive feedback and personalized guidance to help students improve steadily and overcome weaknesses confidently. My goal is to make violin learning inspiring, practical, and rewarding for students from different musical backgrounds and age groups.
