About Niva
I am an experienced violin tutor with 8 years of teaching experience and a PhD degree in Music Performance. I have worked with students from different age groups and skill levels, helping them improve technical abilities, confidence, and musical understanding. My passion for teaching comes from supporting learners as they develop creativity and stronger violin performance skills consistently.
Throughout my teaching career, I have developed personalized methods that combine technical exercises, music theory, and practical performance activities. I understand that every student learns differently, so I customize lessons according to individual strengths and goals. My sessions focus on building confidence, improving consistency, and helping students strengthen violin techniques through supportive instruction and regular guided practice sessions.
I continuously explore modern teaching strategies and creative learning approaches to provide engaging and effective musical lessons. Beyond technical improvement, I encourage students to appreciate music as a form of expression and creativity. My goal is to help learners become confident violin players while developing lifelong musical enjoyment, artistic growth, and stronger performance confidence through practice and dedication.

My violin lessons focus on improving bow control, finger placement, rhythm, and musical confidence through structured and engaging learning sessions. I teach scales, posture, tone production, and music reading using personalized instruction methods. Every lesson is adjusted according to the student’s experience level, musical interests, and learning goals to support steady improvement and stronger violin abilities consistently.
I create interactive sessions where students practice coordination, rhythm exercises, and musical expression in supportive learning environments. Lessons include sight reading, performance activities, and guided exercises that improve timing, accuracy, and confidence. Regular feedback and personalized routines help students strengthen consistency, musical understanding, and overall violin performance skills while enjoying the learning process with greater motivation and focus.
