About Will

I have over 26 years of teaching experience. From 2018 to 2025 I taught children and adults in English and Hindi, focusing on students from low-income communities and children's homes. I arranged sponsorships for exam entries, and in one group of 18 students at a children’s home in Goa, 12 were awarded distinctions while facing significant learning challenges. I bring the same patience and care to every student I work with. Before living in India I lived in London and Leeds, teaching piano grades 1 - 8 to many students of all ages. It's my passion to see people empowered and inspired by music and the change a creative education can bring about to a person's life.

About the lesson

My songwriting, music production, music education and global education consultancy is founded on the principle of affirming and empowering music for humanity, so each lesson will be a space for development of a wide range of musical skills and self-expression. I believe in creating inclusive spaces for happy development and creative thinking. My teaching is relaxed, structured and supportive. Students know what we are working on each week, and lessons mix hands-on playing with steady guidance in reading, technique and musical understanding. My aim is to help you feel comfortable, motivated and able to grow at a pace that suits you. Parents can expect a warm atmosphere and clear communication about practice and progress.
