About Kenna
Do you struggle with turning a fleeting musical idea into a complete song? My background in writing and recording helps beginners and home-studio owners find their unique voice.
I have coached 363 students through the complex process of melody writing and structural development. We focus on genre conventions for pop, country, folk, and R&B to build your confidence.
Storytelling becomes an intentional act rather than a guessing game in our sessions. Teens and career switchers often find that breaking song components down into smaller parts makes the task manageable. My BA Contemporary Music provides the theoretical framework for our creative work. I enjoy watching the moment when a student finally captures the sound they hear in their head.
