About Jordan

I graduated with my A.A in Sign Language Interpreting from Valencia College. Furthermore, I continued my education in Sign Language Interpreting at The University of South Florida, where I obtained my B.A degree. I have over 8 years of quality instruction that I hope to share with you. I currently work as a VRS Interpreter and a community-based interpreter.

About the lesson

I teach ASL using proper grammatical structure while incorporating self-directed vocabulary learning in a self-paced environment.

Some of the topics we frequently cover during our sessions include:

* Classifiers and gestures
* ASL grammar rules
* Sentence structure and sentence types
* The five parameters of a sign
* Noun-verb pairs
* Temporal aspects
* Storytelling techniques
* Glossing
* Number production
* Fingerspelling accuracy and fluency

If you're just getting started, we can also focus on basic ASL phrases and practical vocabulary you can use in everyday, real-world situations.

If you're taking an ASL or Interpreter Training Program (ITP) course and need assistance with homework, assignments, or projects, I'd be happy to help.
