About Cydney
Growing up as a dancer of ballet, tap, jazz and modern, I have always been connected to my body. But the problem with being a young dancer is that our bodies are pushed past our limits in hopes of achieving the goals of strength and flexibility. Not every dancer is a natural and that's okay!
Countless times I have pulled or strained muscles which hindered my abilities as a dancer. Now as an adult, who no longer dances but practices yoga, I am more flexible and stronger now than I was back then. I want to protect these tiny dancers from injury through the practice of mindful yoga. I want them to be the best they can be both on stage and in life.

Through my voice I will help guide your children through various yoga poses, exercises and flows. I may also guide them through some meditations and breathing exercises. Sometimes I will do these poses side by side with the dancers while other times I will allow them to figure out the poses on their own. The goal is for them to shift their focus to their inner body so that they can feel and understand what's good for them and their bodies.
I will help them learn what their physical limits are and how to breathe through the challenges. Over time we will build strength and flexibility as well as how to be mindful in their daily lives.

Details
Travel fee may increase if it takes me longer than 30 minutes by TTC public transportation to reach you. If you are located outside of the GTA - TTC transportation system, travel fee will increase depending on location and mode of transportation needed.
If you need to cancel a session please do so 3+ hours beforehand. Any cancellations made under 3 hours will be at risk to losing the session all together with no rescheduling or refund.
