We tackle improvisation, soloing, and technical skills like barre chords or scales. My sessions are designed for players who want to bridge the gap between hobbyist and serious musician. Have you ever felt like your guitar playing needs a bit more structure to reach those advanced levels? I finished a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and BM Guitar at Concordia University, which gave me the tools to help returning learners and self-taught players. My 13 years of gigging in the Montreal folk scene inform my approach to teaching power chords, scales, modes, and reading tabs.
I have helped 334 students find their sound by focusing on ear training, lead guitar, and barre chords. It is about more than just the notes, as I try to keep the atmosphere chill while we navigate the fretboard together, often blending my love for music and language, so you can just enjoy the process.
