About Isla
Singing feels most rewarding when you stand before a microphone and hear your pitch control improve in real time. I share recorded warm-up routines so you can practice these essential movements daily at home. We spend time on exam preparation or genre styling depending on your specific needs.
My background as a musician informs how I teach harmony and sight singing to my students. Teenagers and returning learners alike appreciate the balance between technical rigor and artistic expression. I draw on 13 years of experience to ensure your voice remains healthy throughout our sessions. You will walk away from every meeting with a clearer understanding of your instrument.

Playing chanson française and Québécois folk for 12 years started as a hobby but became my life. I have 13 years of experience in the industry. My BA in French Studies and BM in Guitar from Concordia University provide a unique perspective on vocal mechanics. I help teens, kids, and performance-focused students with everything from microphone technique to complex harmony singing.
We focus on pitch control, sight singing, and mastering both head and chest voice. I also provide genre styling for pop, classical, and musical theatre pieces. Warm up exercises are a staple of our work. Do you want to see how these techniques feel in your own range?
