About Joshua
I prefer to move slowly at first. Starting the process with a focus on ease ensures that no one develops bad habits early on. My lessons rely on a methodical approach to head and chest voice transitions. We share recorded warm up routines for daily home practice so you can maintain your progress throughout the week.
Hobbyists appreciate the emphasis on tone and harmony singing as we explore new repertoire. My background helps me keep the pacing steady for singers at all levels. I am excited to hear your progress.

Holding a BFA in Music Performance from Concordia University remains the foundation of my vocal pedagogy. Vocal health is the most important element of any successful singing practice. I enjoy working with everyone from absolute beginners to working professionals who just need a safe space to create. My 9 years of experience have taught me that rhythm and phrasing are just as critical as hitting the high notes.
I often find that my background in TESOL helps me explain vocal resonance in a way that feels very accessible. It is not just about the sound but how it feels in your body. I am happy to guide you through this process.
