About Barbara
"Have you ever wondered how to make your English sound more natural and precise? A typical lesson flows between structured grammar exercises and active speaking practice.
I integrate reading comprehension with vocabulary building to ensure you grasp the logic behind the language. My approach involves a homework module with feedback after every class for all intermediate learners. We work on presentation skills and interview preparation to keep your progress moving forward.

"Actually, I maintain a calm and precise teaching style while helping newcomers find their voice. My background includes living in Quebec City and working in professional English settings. I taught 414 students during my 7 years of experience.
I hold a BA in French and ESL from the U of T. My methods rely on logic and clear communication. I treat every session as a chance to refine your grammar foundations. It helps that I am bilingual, as I understand the challenges of shifting between languages."
