About Sakinah

Creative designer (for over 6 years) and educator (with certified teaching permit from MOHE) who enjoys sharing the joy of the creative world with people of all levels. With a Master of Education, I believe you can expect me to enjoy teaching and educating others. Don't worry if you're a slow or fast learner; I'll adjust to your pace. Designing is a lot of fun, so we'll have a lot of fun learning together.

About the lesson

I teach for the joy of learning, regardless of prior design experience. Learning to design is a lot of fun if you have an easy way to understand it, and I'll show you how. My lessons are open to individuals of all ages since it is never too early or too late to learn.

If you are a college student who is having difficulty understanding your homework and tests, I can assist you.

My qualifications: Master of Visual Art Education, Bachelor of Information Technology (Graphics & Multimedia), Diploma in Creative Multimedia.

Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?
I couldn't pinpoint my precise age, but I can still clearly recall my first encounter, which was watching my brothers play a game on a large desktop. Sitting next to one another, my sister and I would observe in excitement.
What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?
The development of AI and its increasing application in daily life is both exciting and frightening, despite how commonplace it may seem.
Tell us more about your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.
I enjoy sharing the perspective of the design industry in engaging and creative approaches as a graphic design tutor.
Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?
Their contribution to technology is inspiring. My own personal role models are educators who put their time and passion into education.
Could you share a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school?
Restless nights and projects that were turned down! Even in the creative industry, rejections are constant. However, each rejection improves you as a designer.
What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?
Everyone has a starting point. All knowledge becomes complex if you never start learning. Don't compare your journey to others', and don't be intimidated to start.
What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?
Nature and people. Hiking and meeting new people from all backgrounds, ages, and cultures are things I appreciate.
What makes you a Superprof in IT?
I take pride in my knowledge as a designer. Sharing the joy of the creative world is rewarding.
