About Santhiya

Hello! I'm Santhiya, a passionate science educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s degree in Medical Physics from Universiti Malaya (UM). I have a solid academic background in both theoretical and applied sciences, and I love making complex topics easier to understand. I offer face-to-face (one-to-one & group) and online tutoring in PhysicsMathematics, and Additional Mathematics for secondary school students (Form 1–Form 5, SPM level), Mathematics (STPM), and primary school students (Mathematics). My goal is not just to help students excel in exams, but also to build their confidence and interest in science and math.

About the lesson

My lessons are interactive, visual, and focused on building strong conceptual understanding before moving into problem-solving. I use real-life examples, diagrams, and digital tools to keep sessions engaging and effective. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your basics, improve your grades, or prepare for exams, I’ll guide you every step of the way with patience and clarity.

Lesson Structure:
1. After completing each topic, the student will practice the questions and mock tests to build exam confidence.
2. Each session ends with Q&A, practice questions with guidance.
3. Includes concept explanations easily.
4. Homework support and exam preparation strategies provided.
5. Extra workbooks/modules will be provided for better understanding.

- Bachelor of Science (Physics)
- Master of Medical Physics (Universiti Malaya)
- Experience teaching peers and juniors during university
- Passionate about making science and math enjoyable and stress-free

Who are the lessons for?

1. Primary school: Standard 4-6 (Mathematics)
2. Secondary school: Form 1 (Mathematics) & Form 4-5 (Physics, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics)
3. Higher secondary: STPM (Mathematics M & Mathematics T)
4. One-to-one classes are also offered.

Weekend and weekday evening classes available
Online sessions via Zoom/Google Meet

Details

Additional written notes are prepared for students for better understanding. Students are required to bring a scientific calculator.
Every student will be evaluated in the first hour complementary class by having a basic test for each subject to get to know their initial potential.
A timetable is prepared for each student. Students must ensure that any cancellation is announced at least 2-5 hours before the class begins.

Students may interact with a tutor for further questions related to subjects through WhatsApp. Students are strongly encouraged to ask extra questions after each lesson without hesitation.
