About Lorena

In fact, I remember Mónica, a student whom I supported through the entire process of her studies in France (helping her pass the DELF exam and providing administrative assistance for her arrival), who, by the way, thanked me profusely not only for teaching her formal French, but also colloquial French (abbreviations, real-life expressions, the language of “young people,” etc.). This allowed her to socialize more quickly and not feel lost in this new country.

About the lesson

✧ If you’re reading this, it’s probably because your child has set their sights on taking—and, above all, passing—the DELF exam, and that’s great—you’re in the right place! ✧

Learning a language isn’t just about memorizing words or rules… it’s also about understanding a culture, a way of thinking, and, very often, adapting to new ways of expressing yourself. I’ve been there myself: when I arrived in Colombia, I had to learn not only Spanish but also all the local slang. And believe me, it was hard. I know exactly how it feels to start from scratch, to make mistakes, to hesitate, to struggle to find the right words… and to gradually lose confidence in your abilities.

✧ Until one day I found the learning method that really suited me and allowed me to succeed. Eventually, I trained to teach FLE (French as a Foreign Language) and specialized in DELF preparation, for which I earned my certification as a DELF examiner and grader, so that I could fully understand the exam’s requirements and best support those who wish to move abroad or study in a French-speaking country.

Today, I teach French and support my students who want to earn their language certification, just as I would have liked to have been supported myself.

My approach? Learning French by speaking it from day one.
