About Hoodoo
I am a born Canadian guy who has spent time in Quebec, not to mention living in Paris for 20 years, as well as following through with four years of university French. I am back in Canada now, looking for part/time work or tutoring, using my acquired language skills. Speaking another language opens doors to new worlds. / Personally, I like to swim and would spend surfing holidays in Southwest France (after an initiation at San Diego). The world can be a wonderful place, and life a wonderful thing, especially with the added knowledge and fluency in French, a great, cultural, and historic language of the world.

We work, we play!! We find your level first, then we methodically study and add any grammar points and vocabulary, building your knowledge base as we go. / We also use music and song to get an "ear" for the language, and learn by first studying the French lyrics with the help of English translation, then read the French lyrics, then sing along... or if you are a little shy, we can just listen. / It's a creative and enjoyable way to add to the solidly academic aspects of language learning.
