About Amy
I speak Russian, English, Kazakh, and Mandarin, and I absolutely love learning languages and connecting with people through communication. My diverse linguistic background, combined with my experiences living in Germany, China, and now the USA, has given me a deep understanding of different cultures and language learning processes. This allows me to create a more dynamic and engaging learning experience for my students, no matter their language goals. As a native Russian speaker and experienced tutor, I focus on making learning engaging and personalized. I adapt my approach to each student’s needs, using interactive activities, real-world applications, and a mix of traditional and modern tools. I believe in building confidence through hands-on practice and regular feedback.
A typical lesson includes a warm-up, introduction to new material, interactive practice, and a wrap-up with a focus on progress.

Perfect! Amy had me jump to a level I had never using apps and self study. No joke, in two lessons I had the alphabet, numbers and could read most Russian, woth difficulty of course, but the progress was incredible.
