About Max
I am British and recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and although I am young my tutoring experience goes back years.
Throughout my school years I tutored year groups below me in both 1-on-1 settings and group settings. I started when I was 16 leading year 7 and 8s (11-13), eventually moving to the Sixth form in the school (17-18) studying Mathematics, Biology and Classical Civ. whilst tutoring ages 12-15. Lastly during my university years I did some tutoring in the background to ages 14-18. So rest assured that despite my age I am familiar with tutoring and all the best ways to get every drop of potential out of my students.
I am not here to criticize or demoralize you if there is something that stumps you, that is not what I am here for. I will find what you are strong and weak with, confident and shaky and build you a plan to suit YOU. You are my priority and getting the top marks is the end goal!

-I teach ages 14-18 for anyone looking to improve their knowledge in Biology and environmental science.
-My teaching methodology depends on the individuals receptiveness to learning techniques, if certain things work better e.g. flash tests, popup cards, brain storming, hands-on compared to solely teacher led, then I will ensure that the tutee's plan is modified to push them the hardest and get out what they are capable of.
-Individually, I would like to think of myself as being very kind and compassionate - however I will be firm but fair as a tutor. I found growing up that having a teacher/tutor that you are comfortable with rather than scared of makes the learning process easier, after all I am here to help however I can in your academic journey.
