About Bryn
Education With a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Popular Music Performance from Leeds Conservatoire and 25 years of playing under his belt, Bryn has extensive experience in all things drums and percussion. Bryn has been fortunate to study under many world-renowned drummers including; Caroline Boaden, Steve Smith, Stanton Moore, Jojo Mayer, Mike Dolbear, Jason Bowld, Elliot Bennett, Ralph Salmins, Craig Blundell and many more. With a wide variety of tutors, Bryn has been able to hone his skills to be able to teach and play many different styles. Professional Musician As well as being a private drum tutor, Bryn is also a seasoned session musician. Regularly recording for various artists as well as touring throughout the UK and Europe. His current project, Caro, released its debut album 'Burrows' in 2020 through YALA! Records in conjunction with Wildlife Entertainment and Warner Chappell Publishing. Since its release, Burrows has gone on to receive millions of plays across streaming platforms as well as National and International radio play. After working as a product specialist for 3 years in the renowned drum store, Drummers Only, Bryn has been able to greatly hone his skills for tuning and kit maintenance. A skill that he thinks is invaluable to pass on to all of his students.

A passionate and diverse musician whose main focus is to make each lesson exciting and engaging! Whether you're a complete beginner or seasoned player, Bryn will help you to achieve your own personal goals around the kit. Lessons can be taught from Bryn's home on a professional level electronic kit, via online lessons, or from the comfort of your own space. Bryn teaches drums and percussion to students of all ability levels and ages. Lessons are tailor-made to each student to ensure that all of their personal goals are achieved and learned in the most fun and effective way. This could include learning grades from Rockschool or Trinity, learning to play your favourite songs/play in your first band or taking your playing to the next level through new creative techniques and exercises. This personal approach to each student is what keeps each lesson fun and engaging for the student. Genres and Focus Although Bryn predominantly plays Pop and Rock he has grown up playing many other styles including; Metal, Country, Hip-hop, Soul, allowing him to confidently teach any and all genres that the student is interested in.
