About Gill
I’m a first year arts student tutoring for 3 years now. I’m getting a degree in political studies, and in high school, I excelled in physics, chemistry, pre cal, law, global issues/social studies, and AP English/reading. I am very good at essay writing/structuring and reading comprehension as well. I also have an award winning background in music, and am able to teach vocal and singing techniques for students.

I specialize in Grade 11 classes and below, and prioritize establishing relationships with the kids. In doing that, the students are more likely to listen and learn. I try to create a positive, light hearted environment for students, but I try to be as firm as possible to be able to help them to learn in a kind and disciplinary way. Sometimes students have difficulty with particular methods, and a particular skill of mine is explaining those methods slowly, or coming up with alternative ways to remember them, which also works for learning patterns and skills.
