About Deidra

My name is Deidra and I'm a first year student at the University of Aberdeen. I would like to say that I am a friendly and approachable individual, given my experience as a Volleyball Coach at my school in which I took on responsibility for training 120+ pupils across all the year groups. In this role, I was also able to develop my communication skills and confidence in speaking to new people. In S5 I attained Grade A in Higher Chemistry, and also undertook Advanced Higher Chemistry in S6. That being said, it was certainly a challenge, so by tutoring others in this subject, I am able to help make the course just that little bit easier and simpler to understand, which I know the importance of and the difference it can make to an individual.

About the lesson

I tutor weekly, for 1-hour sessions but can be flexible with the number of sessions and the length of each one. Each week we tackle a specific topic and then use past paper questions to consolidate the pupil's knowledge in that area, and answer any questions they have throughout the session. My lessons are intended for those who are studying National 4/5 and Higher Chemistry
