About James

Hi! My name is James, and I’m a 3rd-year combined MPsych/PhD candidate. I’m currently working on a project that explores the long-term health outcomes of individuals with schizophrenia in the forensic system.

I have a strong academic background from highly-ranked Australian universities, including Monash University and UNSW. I completed my psychology honors with first-class honors at Monash and am now nearing the completion of my Master of Psychology at UNSW. I have also authored multiple peer-reviewed papers, further demonstrating my familiarity with the academic landscape. These experiences have given me a solid foundation and understanding of how to excel in the university environment and consistently achieve high academic results.

About the lesson

Services I offer:

A) Pre-submission reviews
I can provide feedback for your assessments in psychology. Having been in your position, I can give detailed feedback and suggestions to improve the clarity, flow, and cohesiveness of your work, to help you reach your academic goals. I have also been teaching and marking undergraduate psychology courses for several years now, so I would give feedback as if I was marking it against the rubric. This is mostly done via written feedback, but I'm also happy to talk through the comments via a zoom call if needed.

B) Topic-focused one-on-one tutoring
I can also provide 1:1 tutoring on psychology-related concepts, frameworks, and statistics for anyone who's struggling with a particular topic area. I have experience working with SPSS, Jamovi, and R.
