About Em

CURRENT STUDIES: I'm heading into the third year of my teaching degree at Monash University and I feel I have a lot to offer you educationally.
I study a Bachelor of Education (honours) and I'm committed to becoming the best educator I can be :-)

EXPERIENCE: I currently contract myself as a tutor to Alchemy and Cluey Learning, which are big online tutoring companies. However, I also accept students privately via SuperProf. I have worked in childcare, Sunday schools, I've done placement as part of my university course, and I was a high-achieving secondary school student in 2019.
I've also studied Primary school level maths and I've had experience with teaching this subject to students.

MY DREAM: I currently study Biology at university as it's my ultimate passion. I dream to one day teach primary school, junior Science and senior Biology. I truly believe in every student and I'm here to help students learn with confidence!

About the lesson

LESSON DURATION:
1 hour face-to-face session. Can negotiate a time that's best suited. Learning should be enjoyable and taken at the appropriate pace for each individual learner.

FIRST LESSON FREE:
I like to grasp how students are doing and ask how they enjoy to learn best. I find out what areas of the curriculum students excel at AND need improvements with. I embrace mistakes as they are what help us learn :-)

MY GIFT TO YOU:
Knowledge is a gift and I'm passionate about sharing this gift at a reasonable price. When I was in high school I couldn't afford a tutor, therefore I feel to provide tutoring sessions at an affordable price for those in need. I look forward to helping future students the best I can :-D
