3rd year postgraduate medical student here to assist in areas of: human physiology, pathology, neuroscience, genetics, and molecular/cellular biology.

Ashley is very knowledgeable, patient, and resourceful.

Before our session, I couldn’t understand how mitosis fit together with the rest of the cell cycle. Ashley patiently walked me through each phase, explaining not just what happens, but why it happens. She had a way of simplifying the most confusing concepts (like G2 to M transition and chromosome behaviour) without ever making me feel rushed or dumb.

What really stood out was how resourceful she was. If I didn’t understand something one way, she always had another explanation or graphic to make it click. Thanks to her, I now fully understand the checkpoints, the difference between mitosis and cytokinesis, and am beginning to understand meiosis.

I came to Ashley for help in understanding concepts of endocrinology for a course in university. She was really helpful. She first asked me what my biggest concern was and she she talked me through the HPA axis. I'm a big visual learner so her pictures and diagrams really helped. I can tell she really wants to make sure I understand before we ended the session. I'd say if you ever take a session with her, there's no doubt you'll leave knowing more. And she's so sweet :)

Ashley has been a valued volunteer for our organization and I am proud to write a recommendation on behalf of Northern Revision. During her time, she helped over 40 students with their school work, particularly in areas of english and science. Hearing about this platform superprof, and how she's engaged with it to provide virtual tutoring to students, she will make for an excellent tutor. She has a breadth of knowledge from her previous Bachelor of Science degree and even more so now as she's ventured to become a doctor. I'd highly recommend!
