About Sophia
I am a high school senior following my passion for teaching. I work great with younger kids. I started tutoring younger kids as well as kids my age in my building when I was in the fourth grade. I love to see kids who are struggling succeed since I know that struggle well but I myself have overcome it with the help of tutoring which is why I love this field so much. I have also worked with children in other setting such as summer camp. I was in honors classes since middle school as well as taking AP courses in high school and will be recieving my Advanced Regents Diploma in June. If you are looking for reasonably priced online tutoring, I'm your girl!
I am a high school senior at Frank Sinatra School of the Arts. I have taken multiple college level courses as well as mastered all of my regents so I will be recieving an Advanced Regents diploma June of 2021.

I like to of course start off getting to know the student to where they feel fully comfortable to make mistakes and ask for help. Its all about building a relationship with each and every student because in my experience working with a tutor you are comfortable with shows no results. The child will be too scared to ask questions or really express what they do or dont understand.
