About
I've spent five years tutoring, working with over 100 students on SAT, ACT, and PSAT prep, AP coursework across history, science, and math, and college-level general chemistry, biology, and economics. I also coach students through college admissions. My own background is a Princeton degree in operations research and financial engineering, and I'm now in a master's program in mathematics of finance at Columbia.
Working with me starts with figuring out what's actually going wrong. Score plateaus usually come down to a handful of repeating errors, so I spend the first session or two diagnosing before we drill anything. From there we rebuild the reasoning underneath the mistakes so the method carries over to problems you haven't seen yet. Five years of this has produced consistent AP score gains and real SAT and ACT improvements. I welcome parent feedback and build around family goals, and I'm happy to talk through fit before anyone commits.
