About
I aim to help people with their voices.
This can mean singing voices, of course!
This can also mean speaking voices. For those who are public speakers, actors, and teachers: are you projecting with comfort and ease? Are you happy with your voice stamina?
This can also mean your day-to-day voice. Do you feel empowered to speak up when you want to in different situations? Do you feel prepared, both physically and mentally, to say what you need to say?
Lastly, this can mean your figurative voice. Do you feel in control of your own personal narrative? Are you expressing yourself creatively in the ways that you want?
Maybe you’re experiencing a struggle with your voice. Maybe a traumatic event or injury has occurred. Maybe you stopped singing for a period of time, or singing just doesn’t feel the same as it used to. Maybe you want to level up your voice use, or combine it with a mindful movement practice in an attempt to reintegrate mind, body, and voice.
My approach is unique. I draw upon my background in mental health care, neuroscience, and vocal performance to provide broad, evidence-based, trauma-informed support to voice users of all types. One-on-one mentorship with me could potentially include any of the following: singing, refining technique, evidence-based voice care, primal sounding, vagal toning, yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, body awareness exercises, storytelling, songwriting, performance prep, and more.
I want to talk with you about what’s going on in your life and how it might relate to and affect your voice. I want to create a container where the mind, body, and voice can be explored holistically.
I always start with a FREE intro call to give us a chance to get to know one another better, and give folks a chance to ask questions. If you’re interested in scheduling a call with me, either message me directly, click the link in the comments, or go to my website and click “Book Now”.
Please feel free to forward this to anyone you know who could benefit from this type of support!
DISCLAIMER: Though we might touch on serious mental, physical, and voice health issues during the course of our work together, I am not a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Physical Therapist, nor Speech Language Pathologist. If the need for formal diagnosis and clinical care becomes apparent during the course of our work together, I will immediately refer you to the appropriate practitioner.
