About Vishay
Hi! I’m a 4th-year medical student offering personalised tutoring in: A-Level Chemistry GCSE Chemistry GCSE Biology, Chemistry & Physics / Combined Science GCSE Mathematics My aim is to make difficult topics feel simple, logical and manageable. I know that understanding the content is only part of doing well in exams. Students also need to know how to apply their knowledge, approach unfamiliar questions and write answers that earn marks. My lessons therefore combine clear teaching with plenty of exam practice. We can work through difficult topics step-by-step, identify gaps in your knowledge, practise past-paper questions and develop effective exam technique.

I tailor each session to the individual student rather than using the same lesson for everyone. Depending on what you need, we can focus on: Concepts → Worked Examples → Exam Questions → Feedback → Exam Technique For Chemistry and Science, I particularly focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind a topic rather than simply memorising facts. For Maths, I break problems down into manageable steps and then build up to more challenging exam-style questions. As a medical student, I have spent years studying science at an advanced level and understand the importance of having strong foundations in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. I can also offer insight to students who are considering Medicine or other healthcare/science-related university courses.

I used to struggle with Maths and would get stuck quite easily, but Vishay was really patient and explained everything step by step.
