About Eoghan

I'm Eoghan, a third-year Electrical & Electronic Engineering student at University of Galway, maintaining First Class Honours in every module. I run a software development company and I'm currently building a neuromorphic computing chip as a research project.

I got 625 points in my Leaving Cert, including full marks in Maths, Applied Maths, and Physics. I've completed 40+ private tutoring sessions with a 5-star rating across all students. One student went from failing Ordinary Level Maths to getting an O2.

Beyond private tutoring, I've been hired by University of Galway to teach electronics to younger students, run 20-person peer-learning sessions for university students, taught spiking neural networks to university faculty, presented physics research at national conferences, and run workshops for postgrad researchers at PorterShed.

Maths, Physics, Applied Maths, Computer Science up to Leaving Cert/A-Level
University first/second year: Engineering Maths, Mechanics, Electronics, CS Fundamentals
Programming: Python, Rust, Java, C, C++

About the lesson

Most teachers explain things the textbook way. I explain things in a way that actually makes sense.

I was sitting my Leaving Cert three years ago. I remember what's confusing and why. I got 625 points because I figured out how to study effectively and how to make things click.

That's what I pass on: not just content, but how to think about it. I figure out where you're actually stuck rather than going through the syllabus in order. We build from whatever foundation you need, then apply it to exam questions. I send resources after each lesson. The goal is for you to actually get it, not just nod along.

Online only. I bring more energy than most in-person teachers you'll find.

Perfect! My daughter takes physics classes with Eoghan, she does not like web sessions at all but Eoghan managed to get her to like the online classes and my daughter is very happy with her progress in understanding the subject. Thank you so much Eoghan.

Eoghan was in my Maths class in Leaving Cert and really helped me with Coordinate Geometry and Calculus, patient with a dumbass like me. If it wasn't for him (and the PMA lol), I don't think I would have gotten into Engineering.
