About Kenny

Let’s get one thing straight: if you’re aiming for a top MBA, you don’t need just another GMAT tutor. You need a strategist.

The GMAT isn’t just a test. It’s the gatekeeper to the most competitive business schools in the world. And in a game where thousands of candidates fight for the same limited spots, you can’t afford to be average.

I don’t teach GMAT the way others do. I engineer results.

Who am I?
• A GMAT expert with an obsession for precision.
• The go-to mentor for high-achievers who don’t settle.
• The strategist behind 700+ scores and Ivy League MBA admits.

What do I do?
I take ambitious candidates and turn them into unstoppable GMAT machines. I don’t waste time with generic lessons. I create custom strategies that break through plateaus and shatter score barriers.

If you’re looking for an average tutor, I’m not your guy.
If you’re looking for someone to guarantee your best possible GMAT score—let’s talk.

The GMAT is a mental game. I’ll teach you how to break it.

Most tutors give you theory. I give you a battle plan.

- Data-Driven Precision: Every question has patterns. I train you to spot them before the test even begins.
- High-Performance Strategy: Forget generic approaches. I engineer a strategy built around your strengths and weaknesses.
- Mindset Training: The difference between a 650 and a 750? Your ability to execute under pressure.
- Exponential Score Growth: I don’t believe in small improvements. My students jump 100-200 points because they follow a system that works.

* Who is this for?
If you’re aiming for Harvard, INSEAD, London Business School—you already know that a great GMAT score isn’t optional.

* This is for candidates who are:
Serious about top-tier MBA admissions.
Willing to put in the work and follow an elite-level system.
Looking for real results, not just another study session.

  • When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

I've been immersed in the world of education for a long time, but my true interest in GMAT tutoring emerged after seeing firsthand the impact a well-prepared individual can have on an MBA application. Helping ambitious minds break through their limits and gain access to the world's top business schools is what drives me. Private tutoring gives me the freedom to engage one-on-one with students, to refine their strategies, and to make them realize their potential, which is precisely why I've focused on this niche.
  • Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

The GMAT is not just a test, it's a strategic game, and my job is to make sure my students play it like champions. From Quantitative Reasoning to Critical Thinking, I love working on breaking down complex data sets and analytical reasoning. It's not about rote memorization; it's about teaching students how to think critically, how to approach each problem with the right strategy. Topics like combinatorics or data sufficiency are where I thrive-when my students leave those sessions, they know they can conquer anything. What I'm less fond of? Let's just say, anything that doesn't challenge my students to elevate their thinking to the next level.
  • Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

Absolutely. My role models in GMAT preparation are Charles Bibilos, also known as the GMAT Ninja, and Karishma Bansal. These two individuals are, in my opinion, the top GMAT tutors in the world. Charles' ability to break down complex reasoning into simple, actionable steps is a lesson in clarity and precision. Karishma, on the other hand, is a force of nature when it comes to understanding the nuances of GMAT verbal reasoning. Both have set the bar incredibly high for me, and their influence is a constant reminder that teaching is not just about delivering content: it's about inspiring confidence and strategic thinking in students. For me, they are the benchmarks, and I strive to elevate my own students to the level of excellence they embody.
  • What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

A great tutor is part mentor, part strategist. You need to be able to break down difficult concepts into digestible pieces, challenge students when they get complacent, and, most importantly, have a relentless focus on results. Patience and adaptability are key, but confidence in your methods is paramount. I'm not here to make my students feel comfortable; I'm here to make them better. That's the difference between a good tutor and a game-changer.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

I remember working with a student, let's call him Matt. He started with a 520 score, and after three months of intense, strategically structured preparation, he hit 720. That's a 200-point jump in just 3 months. It's nothing short of extraordinary.

At the beginning, Matt was frustrated. He struggled with time management in Quant and often doubted his ability to perform well under pressure. But we didn't focus on just the content. We built a strategy-a mindset. We broke down every problem, honed his approach to each section, and more importantly, we focused on building his confidence. Slowly, his mindset shifted from "I'm not good enough" to "I am going to own this test." The day he shared his 720 score with me was the moment I knew I had done more than just teach him the material: I helped him transform his approach to problem-solving and to life. That's why I do what I do. The greatest victory isn't the score: it's the transformation.
  • What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

The hardest part of being a GMAT tutor? Watching a student fail-not because they don't know the material, but because they're trapped in their own head. This is the part of tutoring that often goes unnoticed. It's easy to assume that the challenge is purely academic, but what I've come to realize is that psychological barriers are just as crucial (sometimes more so) than the academic barriers.

I've worked with students who've mastered the content, nailed practice tests, and still couldn't break through to the next level. Why? Fear of failure. Anxiety. Overthinking. They freeze under pressure, second-guess their answers, and crumble in moments of stress. It's incredibly frustrating because the potential is there, but their minds are standing in the way. The GMAT isn't just a test of knowledge; it's a test of mental resilience.

As a tutor, it's my job to not only teach the material but to reprogram that mental framework. To teach my students that failure is just a stepping stone to success, and that every mistake is simply a lesson in disguise. Overcoming the mental blocks that keep them from performing at their peak is an ongoing challenge, but it's the most rewarding part of my work. Once they break free from that mental cage, the results speak for themselves.
  • Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

My passion lies in the ability to unlock potential. Whether it's through teaching GMAT or helping someone develop the skills to take on the world's top business schools, it's the satisfaction of knowing I've made an impact. Teaching is more than just delivering information: it's about shaping a mindset and empowering others to push their limits. The satisfaction isn't in just passing the test. The satisfaction is in seeing students conquer what they once thought was impossible. My passion is success through my students'.
  • What makes you a Superprof (besides answering this interview questions :-P)?

What makes me a Superprof? It's simple. I don't just teach; I elevate my students to a level they didn't think was possible. My focus is results, and I have the track record to prove it. Every session is carefully crafted to push students past their limits, helping them achieve their goals faster and more effectively than they ever could on their own. Superprof is about pushing boundaries, and I'm in the business of results, not just theory.
