About Olivia
I am in 8th grade, homeschooled, and love helping people my age and younger to enjoy learning like I did and to have a bright future, such as being able to get their dream job and get into a college.
I always dreamed of being a CEO, and I wanted to start young to have working experience, in finances and starting a business.
I am about the age of your average 5th-6th grader, having skipped grades, but having the full intellect of a teenager in my grade, and you could possibly say more.
All of my friends are between the ages of 7-15, so I have experience with different age groups, including a younger brother who is just going into middle school.
Why I started tutoring, is because I want to help children learn, help my family as well with the intake, and to gain experience for work later in my life.

What I tutor:
I tutor kindergarten to 5th grade, all of elementary, for all core subjects. This includes all sciences, basic mathematics, English language arts, reading, and social studies.
Why you should use my service:
I can relate easier to elementary age children, having just gone through those years and having multiple friends in elementary.
I am also a safer option for tutoring your child, because of being still technically a child myself, no one has to worry about their children being in danger in any way.
How I tutor and teach children:
I walk through the lesson with the tutee, making sure it's the subject they need help with, and showing them how to solve the problem, not doing it for them, but showing them how.
How I treat the tutees:
For tutees in lower elementary, (Kindergarten to 2nd grade) They will receive more praise when solving an equation correctly, to also help self-esteem and encourage them to love learning.
This, however, does not mean tutees in upper elementary, (3rd grade to 5th grade) will be treated coldly, just that younger children, will, in respect, be treated with praise in ways that may feel to older tutees that they are being treated like children, which is something I would like to avoid to show that learning is suitable for all ages and should be enjoyable.
