About Aqua
I have 18 years of experience playing the piano. I am classically trained, having gone through exams within the ABRSM system and completed Grade 8 (roughly equivalent to RCM Grade 10) with distinction when I was 11 years old. Not long after the ABRSM exams, I learned “Let It Go”, among many other Frozen soundtracks, by ear, and made my own cover of them for piano. This motivated me to continue my endeavors in music on my own, both in playing and later in music composition. I am additionally experienced with playing piano music in jazz, as well as in modern pop music. My favorite composer is Chopin, but Beethoven is a close second.

I have played the piano all my life, with experience in classical, jazz, and modern pop music. I believe that the music learning experience should be accessible, eye-opening, and joyful. I will guide you patiently to play with better technique, but additionally, more musicality, and a deeper understanding of the composition. As a teacher, I strive not only to increase your skill, but help you also discover a beauty that I see in music.
