About Alastair
Before I discovered mechanics and economics at A level, I always thought maths was dry and unrelatable. When I found my route into it, my passion blossomed and I felt it was not only accessible but fun. I want to help other people find the reason they can love it too - and help them achieve everything they can in a subject that's often seen as the driest twig in the kindling flame of education.

Building confidence is the first step. Increasing understanding through creating bite size lessons tackled one at a time followed with reinforcement of knowledge through solving problems. Make the larger problem interesting or help break it down to manageable (and less stressfull) steps. Applying the building blocks to answer deep and difficult questions, with positive reinforcement so you know and feel how each step has let you conquer the mountain.
