About Foo

Graduated with A1 Distinction for O levels Chinese. Have 2 Years of experience teaching Primary to Secondary students, primarily Higher Chinese. Proficient bilingualism with Native Chinese accent, albeit being a local Singaporean. Took higher chinese for 6 years, and attained top 10% in cohort throughout Secondary school. Being close to age with my students allows me to build stronger bonds and greater rapport. I provide parents with monthly evaluations as well as :)

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Chloez from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I have been tutoring for about 2 years, specialising in 1-to-1 private coaching. I am currently teaching 2–3 students, mainly at Upper Primary to Lower Secondary levels.

I attained an A1 Distinction in O-Level Chinese and previously took Higher Chinese. I was from Nanhua Primary School, and I’m confident in delivering authentic and fluent spoken Chinese.

Over the years, I’ve built strong rapport with my students, as I adopt an older-sibling approach while maintaining clear structure and expectations. My teaching style is supportive yet results-driven.

I also have experience guiding students with ADHD, slower learning pace, and difficulties in memorisation. I customise my teaching strategies to suit each child’s learning style, focusing on patience, reinforcement techniques, and building confidence alongside academic improvement.
