About Anisha

Hi, I’m Anisha! I studied A Level Sociology (AQA), Psychology (AQA) and Politics (Edexcel) - gained A*AA respectively. I graduated in History, Politics and Economics BA from UCL. I am happy to tutor AQA Sociology - please do get in touch! I studied Education, families and household, theories and methods, beliefs in society and crime and deviance. About the lesson

My ways of working are constructed to guarantee that my students not only understand the content required to recite in the exams but are thoroughly prepared to do well in the final exams. Exam skills are essential to securing the top-grade answers - it’s not enough understanding the content. My main focus is to ensure that my students have a good coherent understanding of the concepts and ideas of a particular topic, before translating this to a series of exam questions. This structure will dominate the tutorial, making my students well equipped and confident to sit their final exams.

Perfect! Anisha has been extremely helpful over the duration i've had her. Despite not having lessons over a very long duration, i can still see a dramatic change in my ability within Sociology. Anisha is very helpful with going through content thoroughly, but also efficiently. I found that before i started tuition, my exam technique wasn't the best, but after a few lessons this was strengthened, due to Anisha's high quality annotated feedback of my work. Overall, i highly recommend Anisha to anyone taking Sociology as she has made a real difference in levels of confidence and ability.
