About Magnolia
I am a dedicated Guitar tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, working with high school students, college learners, and adults who want to learn and enjoy playing the guitar. During this time, I have successfully taught around 300 students, helping many beginners take their first steps into music.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and practical learning. I believe that music should be learned in a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their creativity.
In my lessons, I focus on building strong fundamentals such as chord transitions, rhythm control, strumming techniques, finger exercises, and basic music theory. These skills help students develop confidence and play smoothly over time.
I also believe that learning songs is an important part of staying motivated. Therefore, I include popular songs and simple melodies that help students apply what they learn in real musical situations.
One of the most rewarding parts of teaching guitar is seeing students progress from struggling with basic chords to confidently playing full songs. Many of my students have successfully performed at school and college events, which is always a proud moment for both the student and me as a tutor.
My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations, consistent practice, and steady improvement. I make sure that each lesson is engaging, supportive, and suited to the student's pace.
Whether you are learning guitar as a hobby, for performance, or simply for personal enjoyment, I am committed to helping you build the skills and confidence needed to play music with joy.

My teaching style focuses on learning Guitar through music, communication, and flexible teaching methods. I believe students stay motivated when they can connect lessons to real songs and musical experiences.
Students learn important Guitar techniques such as chords, strumming styles, rhythm patterns, scales, and finger exercises. These fundamentals are practised through song-based learning and guided practice.
Real-life musical examples play a big role in my teaching. By studying songs and musical case studies, students understand how different Guitar techniques are used in real performances.
Along with Guitar training, I introduce supporting subjects such as music theory, ear training, rhythm development, improvisation basics, and songwriting skills. These topics help students grow as complete musicians.
My goal is to make Guitar learning enjoyable while helping students build strong musical skills and confidence.
