My work emphasizes a performer-centred approach allowing them to find ownership and responsibility in the work while pursuing creative risks. An initial session will help us figure out what kind of methodologies work best for you so that I can adapt to your needs when coaching.
Coaching should be tailored to individual needs and therefore, I can help with:
Audition/Theatre school audition prep
Unlocking different parts of your process
Providing new ways to approach a role to scene
Creative support on shows in development
Feedback on grant applications
The main tenets of my practice revolve around active analysis with a focus on dramatic situations rather than character development. Each session will include a brief warm-up and setting some goals for the coaching to ensure that you can meet your needs.
Coaching should be fun, challenging and destabilizing, so be ready to be provoked into playing!
