About Parneet
I am an Advance Placement student currently in Grade 12. I hope to go into the medical field in the future but before that, I wish to further provide mentorship opportunities to younger kids in need of academic support. After the tough academic jump from Grade 10 to Grade 11, I know just how much help is needed for school - even at times when you believe that you are doing well. I am in my school's mentorship club so I already have the experience of being paired up with someone younger than me and guiding them on a path that I think best suits their interests and academic yearnings.

Before getting to the actual questions or homework, I find it necessary to review the lesson and maybe even add in a bit more detail at times when necessary to provide with better understanding. When teaching a subject or a specific lesson, I feel as if examples are the best way that someone can grasp the idea of what is being told. By providing examples within the lesson, it becomes easier to interpret the meaning of the lesson as now evidence is provided as to how a question should be answered or why a certain answer is the way that it is. Along with providing examples, I also like to give one or two random practice questions relating to the lesson that would show whether or not the tutee has understood the lesson or not. If they haven't then I would try to approach it in a way that would be more comprehensible to them.
