I am very patient. I enjoy helping you obtain the foundation required to get to where you would like. For example, just because you're eager to learn hypergeometric distributions, does not mean you have an accurate background, thus my approach is to give you the tools required to learn.
I start with very basic lessons and then develop the concept with respect to sallybus.
My teaching method is not fix, it depends on the student's level. I think that the hardest part of teaching chemistry is bringing the complex down to a level that students can grasp. The students have to be taught to be patient with the learning process. I try to give them step-by-step instructions and frameworks to help them through these harder thinking skills.
I myself have learned from making mistakes in high school and know STEM courses can be demanding, so I am always open to any questions and levels of learning. I believe constant effort and practice are the core strategies to physics and math and this is done through examples.
• Education through motivation and inspiration • Clear the fundamental concepts. • Lecture method as well as Demonstration method • Regular assessment and Quizzes for better understanding. • Classes available for all grade students including High School and Degree level students. • Lectures available in English, Hindi and Punjabi languages.
I have my own way to teach chemistry as i love it when students enjoy this subject. I always focus on practical knowledge so that students can better understand it. Chemistry is all about to know reasons behind the nature.
Teaching is not just about the students understanding the concepts and course material. During my own time as a student what I realised was that as I studied the concepts in depth and formed my own examples and analogies to understand the material my own knowledge of the subject expanded. This is what I would like to impart to my students in my classroom.
It includes giving theoretical knowledge of the subject along with simulation studies. Focusing on the building up students confidence by arranging relevant presentations. I always willing to give equal opportunity to my students for sharing their ideas and discussions.
I have always been adopting a student-centered approach to learning. My primary role as a tutor is to coach and facilitate student's learning and overall comprehension of the material and to measure student learning through both formal and informal forms of assessment.
My methodology supports the concept that each student learns differently (some are visual learners other tactile etc). As such, I create personalized lesson plans based on each individual's learning style. I am highly recommended due to my patience and excellent communications skills.
My teaching methods depend on which topic/ part of chemistry I'm tutoring. But one thing is sure, it's simplified on the most possible way. Why? Because students think chemistry is way too hard for them, only because they've experienced hard way of teaching it previously. And there I'm now, to prove it's actually not hard at all, it's even fun.
Each student is unique, similarly my approach and teaching style will also be unique with each of my pupils. It’s a journey we will have to move through together and find what works best for you to learn and master the tasks at hand.
Recognizing variations in student backgrounds, abilities and learning styles. Interacting with students in a friendly and respectful manner, aiming to comprehend their specific learning abilities and limitations. Design and present lesson plans ensuring that student is able to retain and understand the materials in hand.
My teaching methodology is based on the fact that you need to connect theory with real world examples. Maximum practice makes a person perfect so I believe in perseverance.
I base my teaching on probing the understanding of concept by the student and improving their understanding by Q and A
I have tutored both group and individuals. As a TA at UofT I used to teach groups of 20+ students.
Approcheable, highly motivating and blend well with students of all ages. Present the subject very creatively and core knowledge towards the subject.
My teaching methodology is to cater to the different needs and learning styles of students. I believe that learning can be fun and so, my goal is to immerse my students into the learning content in interesting ways. I also like to use interactive activities and manipulatives to reinforce the subject at hand so that students will enjoy their time learning.
I teach in a chronological order of topics for math, chemistry and biology. I explain thoroughly and give many examples and notes that will help in the future for kids from elementary to middleschool and even highschool students. I try to be detailed in a way that will be easier for the student to understand.
Emphasise much on One to one interaction with the student to remove their problems in study matter and to improve their academic score.Teaching is my passion and I always do it with dedication and honesty to make my students learn more.
My teaching methods. My method and strategies are determined partly on subject matter to be taught and partly by the nature of learner. Suggestions are always welcome and selection of teaching methods must take into account not only the nature of the subject matter but also how students learn.
I am a Junior at UTM on a year aborad from the UK (Cardiff) where I am studying towards a Masters in Chemistry. Lesson structure: Completely up to you however a suggestion could be: 5-10 minute introduction/re-cap 45 minute lesson 5-10 minute re-cap and discussion I have been tutored previously in lower school and know what makes a good tutor.
My teaching methods are based on case to case however, a typical class with me is as follows; I start the class of with 15 - 20 minutes of personal questions based on the last lesson, homework or any other questions. My student and I would then dive into the next lesson in great depth using an integrated approach through notes, demonstations, examples and practice problems.
Since the subjects I teach are very technical I believe the best way to learn is by solving exercises that increase their difficulty gradually.
My teaching method is application based , followed with a lot of practise. It is not structured, catering to the needs of an individual child. I specially cater to middle school grades 5 to Grade 8. It is my passion to teach children with various needs.
I am currently a Co-op student beginning to explore the world of tutoring and the opportunities it provides me. Elementary to High school grade Maths would be an Ideal area for me. Teaching methods when it comes to Math has to be taught with certain basis behind the solution and a thought process needs to be shown before getting a solution.
My teaching methods are to adapt to the students that I am teaching. They all learn differently and all have the capability to learn, it's merely learning how they learn. Many students have troubles with sciences and maths as it can be seen as abstract, I show the students different manners of visualizing the content when they struggle with one viewpoint.
I focus on students' weaknesses and I tailor my tutoring to make those weaknesses into strengths. I try to really hammer down any concepts that are weak by providing plenty of examples and problems. I also try to accommodate visual learners through the use of models.
I mainly focus on the concepts of a topic for easy understanding by the students. The overall objective of teaching is to interact with student one-to-one level and train them from the basics and emphasize more on the concept.
Firstly, I like to start off with a consultation on the student's specific needs, so that we can tailor our work together to suit each individual student. I'd be more than happy to assist you with homework, test prep, lab reports, and language conversational skills.
