About Ashley
With 6 years of experience as a computer programming tutor, I have helped students from GCSE, A-Level, and university backgrounds strengthen their coding knowledge and achieve excellent academic progress. I specialise in teaching Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, and key computer science concepts such as data structures, algorithms, software engineering, and database systems.
My passion for technology and education allows me to create lessons that are engaging, practical, and tailored to individual learning goals. I believe students learn best through hands-on practice, so I include coding challenges, interactive exercises, and project-based activities that encourage creativity and independent thinking.
I understand that programming can sometimes feel challenging, which is why I focus on breaking difficult topics into manageable steps. My computer programming lessons focus on building strong technical foundations while making learning enjoyable, practical, and results-driven. I support GCSE, A-Level, and university students who want to improve their coding knowledge, strengthen problem-solving abilities, or prepare for academic assessments and future careers in technology.
Lessons are personalised according to each student’s experience level and learning style. I teach programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, and C++, alongside computer science topics including data structures, algorithms, software engineering principles, and database management.
