About Steve
I have past experience as a tutor where I strengthened students’ understanding of concepts & promoted discussion by providing group tutoring sessions for university-level engineering classes. I led 8 weekly 90 minute sessions of 30 students per session, resulting in a 96% passing rate & average 8% score improvement
from pre-session tests. Each lesson plan was tailored to meet each sessions' specific needs.

My lesson plans include multiple practice problems with full solutions and time to work independently and collaborate with peers. By using a facilitation method to allow students to reach the correct conclusions I have found that students are able to retain information at a faster rate.
