About Furqan
I have an experience of teaching students online for 4 years from all over the world. Currently I am teaching 4 students from the UK in one-on-one sessions. I am also teaching an American high school student, and just last year 2 of my students had graduated from high school. I keep my classes interactive and professional, and always try to ensure that the students feel comfortable in my classes. I also have to show through my behavior that I have a Masters in Aerospace Engineering, as I am representative of my my profession and my country.

After the introduction of the topic, I challenge the students to solve some problems themselves to increase their application of knowledge. It also gives a good idea on who needs more help to become more independent and who is already there. And there is a research suggesting that when a student fails at something, the brain is more receptive for receiving the knowledge, thus making it learn more effectively. In my class, the students' understanding of the topic is paramount. once they have understood a topic, the students can learn to independently solve the problems themselves. I have already had the experience of teaching from 6th grade to 1st and 2nd year students. I bring a never say no attitude where I will cover the same topic repeatedly if the student wants it, although for most part, my students have always been able to understand my explanations, and have become consistent enough to become self learning students.
