About Phan
I’m an aerospace engineering student currently in my 4th year at the University of Washington. I’ve been tutoring for 5 years now, and I currently have 2 students. I’ve taught anywhere from elementary school math to college-level calculus and statistics. Being an aerospace engineering major, physics is a strong suit of mine. Before tutoring, I was a STEM Academy tutor, teaching elementary students about STEM and science principles.

My teaching style allows students to take their learning into their own hands. Making sure that each student wants to learn and understand is the most important. I focus on giving the time necessary for students to solve problems on their own and emphasize not simply giving out answers.
