Jamal is an excellent tutor and very passionate and knowledgeable about dance.

My girl friends and I had a great time celebrating my 40th birthday thanks for Jamal, who came to give us an Afrobeat class for my birthday party. Jamal was very patient; encouraging and gentle. None of us had taken an African/Afrobeat dance class before. Jamal picked a dance routine which worked really well for us and that we could all manage and enjoyed. It’s also inspiring that he shares his culture through dance. Would highly recommend him.

Jamal is a very patient teacher and has a real determination for his student to succeed. I wouldn’t want to work with anyone else. I enjoy every session that I have with Jamal.

Jamal did a ‘first dance’ lesson for me and my partner’s upcoming wedding day.
We had a particular section of our first dance medley we wanted him to help with, which is afrocarribean in style, of which we weren’t familiar with! He was really patient with us throughout whenever we messed up! He brought a lot of enthusiasm and energy to the class and helped to push us beyond our comfort zone and keep the energy up which is what a good instructor does.

Importantly he gave us a really awesome routine which we loved. Overall we had a lot of fun and would highly recommend this enthusiastic friendly and competent teacher.
