When not tutoring, I enjoy reading, writing, watching movies, playing PC video games, collecting board games, and running TTRPG campaigns. I live with two feline roommates named Ozymandias and Bellablanca, and I am the proud father of two college students.

I have been a teacher for over ten years and currently work at an AISD middle school.
I am certified to teach English Language Arts at all grade levels with a specialization in writing. I can teach/tutor/mentor at all grade levels up to and including undergraduate university writing.
I am also certified to teach Mathematics and Science from early childhood to 8th grade, with over eight years of math teaching experience in particular.
I have three years of experience as a private tutor, much of which focused on reading, writing, and math, especially as enrichment and/or preparation for the Math, Reading, and Writing STAAR tests.
One of my favorite comments I've received from kids I've tutored has been, "You explain it so much better than my teacher does!"
