About Miranda
Hi! I’m a passionate educator and creative who loves helping students discover their strengths and become more confident in their abilities.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education, and I have five years of teaching experience. Alongside teaching, I have spent over 15 years involved in acting and competitive singing, giving me a strong background in communication, performance, creativity, and public speaking.
Outside of teaching, I’m an avid traveler, reader, and writer. I love learning about different people, cultures, and perspectives, and I bring that curiosity and enthusiasm into my lessons.
I believe learning should be both challenging and enjoyable. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and pushing themselves toward high standards. I’d love to help you build your skills, confidence, and love of learning!

My lessons are fun, engaging, and completely tailored to each student. I take the time to understand how you learn best, what you want to achieve, and where you need support, then adapt my teaching style and pace accordingly.
While I want my students to feel comfortable and supported, I also believe in challenging them to reach their full potential. I set high expectations, encourage curiosity and critical thinking, and help students build the skills and confidence to meet those expectations.
Drawing on my background in education and drama, I use creative activities, discussion, practical exercises, and real-world examples to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. Whether you need academic support, want to strengthen your English and writing skills, or simply want to become a more confident communicator, our lessons will be built around you and your goals.
