About Alia

I'm a first year veterinary biosciences student at university !

STEM is pretty different to business studies, however during my time at school I enjoyed business studies so much that I would love to get back to the subject by helping other students achieve their full potential.

Sometimes the textbooks can be full of things you don't really need for the exam! Having achieved a grade 9 at GCSE as well as an A* at A level, I'm an expert at helping to simplify the content down to the essential knowledge you need to know to ace your exams :)

As a student myself, I understand that sometimes revision can be a bore and hope to inspire and motivate you to do your best in the exams, as well as provide you with my personal exam tips and revision advice !

In my spare time I love reading as well as playing field hockey!

About the lesson

hey ! I'm Alia and I'm a first year veterinary biosciences student at university.

it may seem a bit confusing that a STEM student offers Business Studies tutoring, however throughout my time at school Business was one of my most favourite subjects ! Although not everyone sees it as particularly fascinating, it's my job to help you realise that Business Studies can be a really enjoyable subject, despite all the writing you have to do in your exams !

having achieved a grade 9 in Business Studies in 2019, I have gone through the process of exams and have learnt the best strategies to learn and summarise all the content, as well as knowing the key points and structure you need in your answer to hit those top grades ! Furthermore, I went on to achieve an A* in A level Edexcel Business Studies, so I feel confident I'll be able to help you achieve the best grades possible :)

As a university student I'm pretty flexible for lessons, the majority of my availability is in the evenings as well as anytime on the weekend ! I'm able to teach ages 16-19, covering both GCSE as well as A Level curriculum.

Lesson lengths can be between 1-2 hours, depending on your preference. I can also offer a free 30 minute trial lesson with me, so you can be sure that you're happy with my teaching style before moving forward.

My teaching style completely depends on the student! Some may have particular topics they want to cover that they don't feel confident in, e.g. before an exam, some may just want a couple of lessons to go through exam question structure whereas others may prefer to cover the content of the whole course.
