About Luke
Degree in Political Science and Spanish from Duke University. Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Madrid, Spain. Experience instructing more than 200 middle and high-school aged students and adults, in classrooms and on-on-one, in the US and Spain. Students have improved college course Spanish grades, passed standardized language exams, and attained high levels of comfort in conversation.

Thorough, rigorous instruction in an atmosphere of exploration and play. I pride myself on understanding a student's needs, developing a teaching model based on how she learns, keeping her engaged with challenging but meaningful activities, and keeping it fun.
