About Hannah

With 12 years of Guitar teaching experience and over 300 students successfully trained, I bring a calm, supportive, and structured approach to music education. I work with High School learners, College students, and adults who want to explore guitar for personal growth, performance, or simply as a relaxing hobby. My goal is to make guitar learning accessible to everyone, no matter their age or prior experience. My teaching philosophy focuses on consistency, clarity, and personalisation. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to match their pace, skill level, and musical interests. I cover essential guitar techniques such as rhythm development, chord mastery, plucking exercises, finger coordination, and strumming variations. I also include basic theory to help students understand patterns, scales, and song structures so they can grow as independent musicians. One of my notable achievements is helping numerous students perform in college festivals, small live events, and online music platforms. Some students who once felt nervous about performing are now confident players who enjoy sharing their music with others. Their progress encourages me to continue creating effective and enjoyable lessons. I use real-life examples, simple explanations, and step-by-step practice routines so students never feel overwhelmed. The learning environment I create is friendly, encouraging, and focused on progress. I aim to help every learner discover joy, clarity, and confidence through the guitar.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for Guitar is based on communication, learning-style adaptation, and practical examples that help students understand music clearly. I keep lessons simple, enjoyable, and focused on real progress. I start by understanding the student’s goals so I can shape lessons that match their interests and comfort. I teach basic techniques such as chords, strumming, rhythm, and simple melodies. As students improve, I introduce scales, fingerpicking, improvisation, and expressive techniques. Real-life examples from songs and guitar performances help students understand how each technique works in real music. I also include case studies showing how different guitarists use patterns, chords, and rhythm. I also teach related subjects like Music Theory, Chord Progressions, Ear Training, Songwriting Basics, Rhythm Studies, and Tablature Reading. These topics support the student’s growth and help them become well-rounded musicians. Communication is open in my sessions. Students can freely ask questions, share what they enjoy, and tell me where they face difficulty. I adjust my teaching based on how they learn—whether visually, through listening, or through active practice. Each lesson includes hands-on exercises, weekly goals, and structured feedback. My aim is to help students become confident guitar players who understand both technique and musical expression.
